At FastQR, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work, so you know exactly what to expect. We aim to be fair and straightforward—no hidden catches or fine print surprises.
Free Trial Period
All paid plans come with a free trial period so you can test FastQR before committing. During your trial, you have full access to your plan's features. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged anything. If you continue past the trial period, your payment method will be charged according to your selected billing cycle.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you're not satisfied with FastQR within the first 30 days of your paid subscription (not including trial periods), contact us at support@fastqr.io and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked.
To qualify for the money-back guarantee, you must request a refund within 30 days of your first paid charge. The guarantee applies once per customer and doesn't apply to renewals or subsequent billing cycles.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your FastQR subscription at any time with no penalties or cancellation fees. Here's how it works:
- Log into your account and go to your subscription settings
- Click "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts
- You'll retain full access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made after your current period ends
- Your QR codes will remain active until the subscription expires
- After expiration, your account will revert to the free plan with its limitations

Partial Refunds and Prorated Credits
After the 30-day money-back guarantee period, we generally don't provide partial refunds for unused time on monthly subscriptions. However, we handle certain situations on a case-by-case basis:
- Service Issues: If FastQR experiences extended downtime or technical problems that prevent you from using the service, we may issue prorated credits or refunds.
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to our error, we'll refund the incorrect charge immediately.
- Annual Plans: Annual subscriptions canceled within 30 days receive a full refund. After 30 days, we may issue prorated refunds at our discretion based on unused time.

Downgrades and Plan Changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When you upgrade, you're charged the prorated difference immediately and gain access to the new plan's features right away. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period—you keep your current plan's features until then.
Failed Payments
If your payment method fails, we'll attempt to charge it a few more times over the next week. We'll send you email notifications so you can update your payment information. If payment continues to fail, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. You won't lose your QR codes or data, but paid features will be restricted until payment is resolved.
Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@fastqr.io with your account email and reason for requesting a refund
- We'll review your request within 2 business days
- If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear
We process refunds through Stripe or Paddle, our payment processors. If you don't see your refund after 10 business days, contact your bank or check with your payment processor.
Exceptions
We cannot provide refunds in these situations:
- Account termination due to violations of our Terms of Service
- Refund requests made more than 30 days after the initial charge (except in extenuating circumstances)
- Repeated refund requests that appear to abuse our policy
- Disputes filed with your bank or card issuer before contacting us
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first, your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution. Chargebacks cost us significant fees, and fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination. Please reach out to us before initiating a chargeback—we're happy to resolve any billing concerns directly.
